The Garden Club was formed when a group of enthusiastic local gardeners decided to formalise their shared hobby and encourage others to get involved. In 1987, the group was adopted as a Section of the BCA.
Each year, the Club hosts a programme of educational talks- often accompanied by plant sales – along with two horticultural shows, several garden visits, and a popular Walkabout during which members explore local gardens and enjoy a meal together in the Village Hall.
Membership is open to all BCA members and costs just £3.00 per year.
